Qualifications & Experience

Role Description
We are seeking experienced Project Support Officers and Project Schedulers based in Sydney to drive efficiency in the planning and execution of critical Defence and industry projects.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that directly support ADF capability, while also gaining experience in adjacent industry sectors outside of Defence, including mining, oil, and gas.
Candidates with a background in scheduling maintenance routines are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualifications in Project Management, Scheduling, a Technical Trade (e.g. Marine or Electronics Technician) or equivalent experience is essential.
- Experience in Defence, maritime sustainment, mining or complex asset management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera P6, Perforce P4) is desirable. However, Geodetica is committed to supporting the right candidate in obtaining the necessary certifications if these qualifications are not currently held.
- Able to work collaboratively within a project team to deliver outcomes and have a willingness to travel for extended periods as required to support project needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to take on varied tasks across Defence and related industries.
