Oliver Ciano, Director

Oliver joined Geodetica after a successful 20-year career with the Department of Defence, comprising a decade in engineering and a decade within program and project management.

He has led several key Defence projects, including as Engineering Manager for SEA 1430 Phase 2A Navigation Display System, and Project Manager for SEA 1448 Phase 4B ANZAC Class Long Range Air Search Radar Replacement. He was also the Program Manager for the Offshore Patrol Vessel Program (includes Project SEA 1180 Offshore Patrol Vessel and Project SEA 1905 Tranche 2).

These roles involved fostering relationships with industry partners, and resulted in the production of several sovereign ships being built in South Australia and Western Australia.

When he’s not working, you’ll find Oliver watching and playing football, doing DIY projects around the house, and spending time with his family.
